Barbara is a fashion model who aspires to use her modelling career and the runway as a platform to help young people especially young girls become more aware of who they are and instil a mindset in them that no matter where they are or whatever they do, they can always achieve what they set their mind to achieve.  

She has worked and volunteered with various organizations as a peer educator in youth empowerment programs. She obtained a certificate in Radio broadcasting and presenting foundations at Rockstone Institute Kampala 

Barbara has worked with various brands as ambassador on campaigns such as Sauti Plus Website/ Television in the year 2016.She has also graced some runway shows and these included Kampala Fashion Week, the Abryanz Style and Fashion Awards, Collective Rwanda Fashion Week and the Hub of Africa Addis Fashion Week
